OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2018 IRA Academy presented by The Entrust Group will take place October 15 – 19, 2018 in Chicago. Tailored to financial and retirement professionals, the five-day educational course covers a full spectrum of content related to IRAs and IRA-based employer-sponsored retirement plans.

Five-Day Course Meets the Needs of Retirement and Financial Advisors

Continuing Education Hours Available
Attendees at the 2018 IRA Academy can earn continuing education (CE) credits for their CISP (Certified IRA Services Professional), CRSP (Certified Retirement Services Professional), or CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) designations.

In addition, The Entrust Group's IRA Academy has been approved by the American Bankers Association (ABA) as a fast-track way to achieve CISP certification in two, rather than four, years. The CISP exam will be offered to eligible attendees on the last day of the IRA academy, Oct. 19.

Last year, approximately one in three American adults had an IRA for retirement savings, according to the Investment Company Institute, yet a mere 12% made contribution in the 2017 tax year.
