Tantalus Announces New Chair of the Board

Chair Laura Formusa to leverage utility expertise to support growth of Tantalus

RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tantalus Systems, a technology company that helps utilities make smart decisions, announced today that Laura Formusa, former CEO of Hydro One, will become the new Chair of the company’s Board of Directors.

Laura joined the Tantalus Board in October 2017 and brings more than 30 years of experience in the utilities industry. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hydro One Inc. from 2007 until her retirement at the end of 2012. Her leadership experience extends beyond the utility sector as she also serves on the Boards of Enmax, 407 International, and Equitable Life Insurance Company of Canada. In addition, Laura sits on the Boards of ICES and York University.
