State Farm, state subsidiary sued over insurance data

The Illinois attorney Ggeneral sued State Farm this month, accusing the nation's largest insurer of breaking the law by refusing to turn over data about its insurance premiums and nonrenewals in every ZIP code in the U.S.– including California. That includes State Farm General, the State Farm subsidiary that does business only in California.
