May 31-- May 31--AOH receives restoration grant

The Butte division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians received a $5,000 grant from the Friends of Irish Studies for its ongoing restoration work at St. Patrick Cemetery.

The grant is a piece of $22,5000 the Irish government has awarded to FISP as part of its Emigration Support Program.

Driving class planned June 13

An AARP Driver's Training class will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Belmont Mine Senior Center, 615 E. Mercury St. There will be a one-hour lunch break. To sign up call 406-723-7773.

Benefits of attendance include a review of driving rules and skills, increased awareness of how your driving skills levels change over time, and your auto insurance company may offer you a discount for attendance.
