WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., May 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A series of storms which included large hail and strong winds moved through multiple states including Colorado, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Farmers Insurance® is monitoring the damage in these states and deploying additional Catastrophe Claims Team members to provide front-line assistance to affected customers as needed.

Farmers Insurance estimates that these storms will generate approximately 22,000 claims across these states at an estimated cost of more than $138 million.
