Sen. Wicker Introduces Bill to Require Insurance Agents to Take Continuing Educational Courses

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 -- Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., has introduced legislation (S. 2092) to amend the Bunning-Bereuter-Blumenauer Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 "to require insurance agents who sell flood insurance policies under the National Flood Insurance Program to take certain continuing educational courses."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 7. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
