Sen. Warner Introduces Bill on Reinsurance With Non-Taxed Affiliates

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- Sen. Mark R. Warner, D-Va., has introduced legislation (S. 3424) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to prevent the avoidance of tax by insurance companies through reinsurance with non-taxed affiliates."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 28. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
