Selective Insurance Named 2019 Company of the Year by National Association of Professional Insurance Agents

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents issued the following news release:

The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) has named Selective Insurance the recipient of its prestigious 2019 Company Award of Excellence. The presentation was made on September 20, 2019 at a gala ceremony held in conjunction with PIA's Board of Directors meeting in Orlando.

"This is our Association's highest annual company honor," said PIA National President Keith A. Savino, in presenting the award. "Selective's only distribution channel is through the independent agent system. That means they are 100% vested in making sure we are vibrant and healthy."

Selective Insurance is an active member of The PIA Partnership, PIA's company council, a group of insurance companies that works closely with PIA National to conduct research and develop tools and resources designed to benefit professional independent insurance agents.

The PIA National Company Award of Excellence honors a company for its commitment to PIA, to the American Agency System and to furthering the interests of professional insurance agents by creating a better business environment.
