Sarah Haynes Named Regional Vice President of Domestic Casualty for West

SCHAUMBURG, Illinois, Sept. 10 -- Zurich Insurance, a property-casualty insurance company, issued the following news release:

Sarah Haynes has been selected as Regional Vice President of Domestic Casualty for Zurich Commercial Insurance in the West Region. Her appointment was effective August 12. Haynes is accountable for developing and driving the success of Zurich's Casualty book of business in the region and cultivating broker/client relationships.

She is based in the San Francisco office and reports directly to Valerie Butt, Head of Large Casualty for U.S. Commercial Insurance.

Prior to joining Zurich, Haynes worked at Marsh USA San Francisco, leading the Casualty Placement Team for the Pacific Northwest Region, where she was responsible for managing trading partner relationships, client advocacy with carriers and resolving complex client needs.

She started her career at AIG Boston in marketing before moving into casualty underwriting at Fremont Compensation. Haynes also worked at ACE Risk Management.

In announcing the appointment, Valerie Butt said, "The team and I look forward to Sarah contributing her large corporate account experience and strong understanding of program structures to help our customers achieve their risk financing goals while protecting their balance sheet."
