Saint Tammany Parish Public Schools Awards Special Education Related Services Data Tracking and Medicaid Billing Software Contract to Accelify

PR Newswire

NEW YORK, April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelify Solutions, LLC (Accelify), a leading provider of special education management systems, is pleased to announce that Saint Tammany Parish Public Schools (STPPS) has awarded Accelify a contract to provide software for special education related services data tracking and Medicaid billing through a competitive bid process.

Under the contract, STPPS will utilize Accelify's best-in-class special education service tracking system, AcceliTRACK, nursing management system, AcceliNURSE, transportation service tracking and billing system, AcceliROUTE, and Medicaid claiming management system, AcceliCLAIM. Combined, these systems provide an end-to-end solution for managing the delivery and billing of services provided to students with disabilities, while ensuring IDEA and Medicaid compliance. Accelify previously provided these systems under a separate award and will continue to serve as the District's billing vendor.

"We look forward to continuing our partnership with Saint Tammany and driving Medicaid reimbursement increases for the parish," said Alex Brecher, Chief Executive Officer of Accelify. "Our work has more than doubled Saint Tammany's interim direct service Medicaid payments, resulting in more than 2.5X the revenue they would have received under the prior vendor's average. In addition, the implementation of AcceliROUTE has enabled Saint Tammany to submit a transportation cost report, resulting in over $1.375 million in additional Cost Settlement claims."

STPPS is one of the largest school districts in Louisiana, serving 39,000 students, including over 6,000 students with disabilities.
