Rep. Wilson Introduces Bill On Reduction Of Survivor Annuities

WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., has introduced legislation (H.R. 553) to amend title 10, U.S. Code, "to repeal the requirement for reduction of survivor annuities under the Survivor Benefit Plan for military surviving spouses to offset the receipt of veterans dependency and indemnity compensation."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 15 and was co-sponsored by Rep. John A. Yarmuth, D-Ky. It was referred to the House Armed Services Committee.
