Washington DC - U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23) released the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in that rejected the Republican lawsuit seeking to dismantle the Affordable Care Act:
"For the third time, the Supreme Court ruled the ACA is the law of the land. Republicans need to call off their war on this vital law which allowed 20 million Americans to access quality affordable health care. They need to stop threatening the 135 million of us who rely on the pre-existing protections it provides, as well as millions more who have free preventative care, like mammograms and colonoscopies.
"Americans who need health care they can count on won today.
"It's time Republicans stop sabotaging the ACA, and help Democrats build on it."
