Rep. Roe Introduces Bill to Repeal Obamacare Provisions

WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 -- Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (H.R. 849) to "repeal the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act providing for the Independent Payment Advisory Board."

The bill was introduced on Feb. 3 and has 13 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Reps. Raul Ruiz, D-Calif., Patrick Meehan, R-Pa., Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., Will Hurd, R-Texas, Mike Bost, R-Ill., Ralph Abraham, R-La., Steve King, R-Iowa, Susan W. Brooks, R-Ind., Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, Ann Wagner, R-Mo., Larry Bucshon, R-Ind., Roger W. Marshall, R-Kan., and Rick Allen, R-Ga.

The legislation was jointly referred to the House Ways and Means, Energy and Commerce and Rules committees.
