WASHINGTON, July 28 -- Rep. Tom O'Halleran, D-Ariz., issued the following statement on the Senate's vote on the repeal of Affordable Care Act:
"I applaud Senator McCain's vote against a health care bill that would devastate rural Arizona communities.
"He has stayed true to his words and is steering this debate back to regular order. Now we must get serious about fixing our health care system, and that means we need to put aside blind party loyalty and work together.
"Congress must take bipartisan action to stabilize the health insurance market and bring down costs for families."
