Rep. Norcross Introduces Bill on Consumer Price Index for Elderly

WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- Rep. Donald W. Norcross, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4076) to amend title II of the Social Security Act "to provide for cost-of-living adjustments indexed to the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 16. It was jointly referred to the House Ways and Means, Education and the Workforce, Energy and Commerce, Armed Services and Oversight and Government Reform committees.
