WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- Rep. Grace Meng, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (H.R. 5815) to "adjust the amount of monthly old-age, survivors, and disability insurance payments under title II of the Social Security Act based on locality-based comparability payment rates."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 7. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
