Rep. Hill Introduces National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act

WASHINGTON, June 17 -- Rep. J. French Hill, R-Ark., has introduced the National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act (H.R. 8036) "to extend the National Flood Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on June 13 and has 17 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Reps. Patrick T. McHenry, R-N.C., Frank D. Lucas, R-Okla., Pete Sessions, R-Texas, Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., Bill Huizenga, R-Mich., Ann Wagner, R-Mo., Andy Barr, R-Ky., Roger Williams, R-Texas, Tom Emmer, R-Minn., Ted Budd, R-N.C., Anthony Gonzalez, R-Ohio, John Rose, R-Tenn., Bryan Steil, R-Wis., William Timmons, R-S.C., Ralph Norman, R-S.C., Bill Posey, R-Fla., and Van Taylor, R-Texas.
The legislation was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
