WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., introduced the Stabilize Medicaid and CHIP Coverage Act" on Sept. 13, 2023. The text of the bill was released on Sept. 24.
H.R. 5434. A bill to amend titles XIX and XXI of the Social Security Act to provide for 12-month continuous enrollment of individuals under the Medicaid program and Children's Health Insurance Program; to the Committee on Energy and Commerce.

SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the "Stabilize Medicaid and CHIP Coverage Act".
SEC. 2. Providing for 12-month continuous enrollment of individuals under the Medicaid program and Children's Health Insurance Program.
