Randy Zipse Joins AXA’s Life Insurance Advanced Markets Team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AXA is pleased to announce that Randy Zipse has joined AXA Distributors’ Advanced Markets team as a Vice President reporting to Mark Teitelbaum, Vice President for Advanced Markets, AXA Distributors LLC. Randy’s primary responsibilities will be case consultation and design using life insurance as a strategy for addressing issues pertaining to business planning, wealth transfer, charitable giving and executive benefits.

Zipse previously managed the Advanced Markets teams at John Hancock and at Prudential. He also worked at Highland Capital Brokerage as a senior vice president for marketing, product and the High Cap Producer Group.

Prior to his life insurance industry career, Zipse worked for two law firms, Gardere & Wynne and, earlier, Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, specializing in trusts, estates, and business planning. He also worked for Deloitte shortly before entering Drake University College of Law in Des Moines, from which he graduated first in his class. In addition to his law degree, Zipse also holds an Associate in Estate Planning (Distinguished) designation. Zipse earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Northern Iowa.
