NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BID Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 202324-05 Lions Town and Country Park Restroom Renovation Introduction Pursuant to California Public Contract Code (PCC) §22000 et seq., the City of Madera ("City") hereby seeks lump sum bids in response to this Invitation for Bid No. 202324-05 for the Lions Town and Country Park Restroom Renovation. Project Summary It is the City's intent to solicit Contractor services to renovate an existing restroom at Lions Town & Country Park, located at 2300 Howard Road, Madera, Ca, including: · Install acrylic panels on interior walls without tile, and install partitions at each restroom · Removal and replacement of flooring · Removal and replacement of existing toilets and related fixtures · Replace toilets and fixtures in compliance with ADA requirements · Painting of restroom interiors and building exterior · Removal and replacement of exterior and interior light fixtures · Installation two-exterior drinking fountains, and · Installation of new plumbing as required for each installation All construction shall comply with ADA and Building Code requirements. This Project is Funded by State of California, PTMISEA PROP 68 Bond Act. The Successful Bidder must complete required work within 90 Calendar Days of Notice to Proceed. The Engineer's Opinion of Cost for this project is $134, 000. Required Contractors Licenses Each Bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code §7028.15 and California Public Contract Code §3300 and shall be licensed in the following classification as required by the scope of work: Class A General Engineering or Class B General Building Contractor, California State Contractor's License issue in accordance with the provisions of the Contractors State license Law, California Business and Professions Code, Division 5 Chapter 9, as amended. Prevailing Wages The project is a public works project subject to California Labor Code §1770 et seq., the Director of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in the locality in which the work is to be performed, for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to execute this contract. Per Diem wages shall be deemed to include employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, apprenticeship or other training programs, and similar purposes. Copies of the rates are on file at the office of the Owner. The rate of prevailing wage for any craft, classification, or type of workmanship to be employed on this Project is the rate established by the applicable collective bargaining agreement which rate so provided is hereby adopted by reference and shall be effective for the life of this Agreement or until the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations determines that another rate be adopted.
