Phynd Technologies, Inc. Announces Joining the GNYHA Services Group Purchasing Portfolio

PR Web

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 06, 2016

Phynd Technologies, Inc., the creator of the Unified Provider Management (UPM) software category, announced recently that it has joined the contract portfolio of GNYHA Services, a strategic group purchasing organization, serving more than 300 hospitals primarily in NY, MA, NJ and PR.

Phynd, pronounced "find," provides clients with a comprehensive Unified Provider Management (UPM) Platform that gathers and validates the latest provider information from multiple sources (internal and external), integrates the data into all of the health organization's disparate IT systems, then allows it to be shared among all appropriate end-users.

The integration of the UPM into the EMR and all other applicable IT data silos where physician data is stored allows for accurate, consistent provider data for all departments within a healthcare organization. Specific benefits and improvements are realized within the following areas:

   •  Provider enrollment within the EMR, revenue cycle systems and claims processing systems
   •  Provider data management for addresses and other demographic information. Integrate, manage and publish disparate data Insurance, Marketing, practice management, web, homegrown and mobile apps
   •  Marketing can analyze provider markets by specialty, practice, proximity and search on all providers in the US
   •  Provider collaboration is facilitated; information is available that assists in communication between providers including direct addresses.

GNYHA Services members can access the benefits of Phynd's UPM platform through the group purchasing portfolio, which will allow them to unify, manage and share a single, verified, custom profile on each of their providers, regardless of where that data exists in their multiple legacy IT systems.

Customers including the Kettering Health Network see Phynd as a new and innovative way to manage the complexity of enterprise provider data. Dr. Charles Watson, CMIO at Kettering said: "We selected Phynd to provide a single source of truth for the demographics and results routing preferences of our credentialed and non-credentialed providers, and relay this information via interface with our Epic EMR schedulable Epic resource (SER) record."

"We are very pleased that a large organization such as GNYHA Services which represents 300 hospitals recognized the value of our Unified Provider Management (UPM) Platform," commented Tom White, CEO of Phynd Technologies, Inc. "We look forward to helping their hospital members improve their provider information, productivity and care coordination."
