Park & Rec, UNC Charlotte Offer Free Health Risk Assessments for Seniors

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 10 -- Mecklenburg County issued the following news release:
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and UNC Charlotte are partnering to offer free health risk assessments for seniors ages 55 and better at various recreation and senior centers throughout January and February.
The assessment includes a blood pressure evaluation, pulmonary function assessment, movement functional assessment and a body composition assessment. Participants will receive free explanation and a copy of the results as well as referrals to medical care and exercise opportunities. No insurance or copay required.
Assessments will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
