Panton International Acquires MetLoop Precision Weather Technologies in Game-Changing Move

HOUSTON, May 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Panton International (www.pantoninc.com) has announced its acquisition of MetLoop Precision Weather Technologies (www.metloop.com) for an undisclosed sum, effective April 10th, 2017.

The move combines MetLoop's precision-driven predictive weather technology with Panton's robust analytics capabilities. Dave Carlson, who co-founded MetLoop along with Trevor Leeds and Brad Hakala, will become President of Panton International, and stated: "The combined company will have the ability to be an all-in-one service for the insurance industry for weather-related events. With MetLoop's vast capabilities, Panton International will offer insurers the ability to predict, with advance precision, the track of incoming severe weather events such as hail and tornado, helping to save both insurers and their clients millions of dollars in damage with each event."
