Concentra Acquires NextCare Centers in Atlanta
<div class="xn-content"><p><span class="xn-location"><location value="LU/us.tx.addson" idsrc="xmltag.org">ADDISON, Texas</location></span>, <span class="xn-chron"><chron>Sept. 19, 2011</chron></span> /PRNewswire/ -- Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., announced today it has expanded its customer base and reach in the <span class="xn-location"><location value="LU/us.ga.atlnta" idsrc="xmltag.org">Atlanta</location></span> market with the acquisition of <org value="ACORN:3300892617" idsrc="xmltag.org">NextCare, Inc.</org>'s four urgent care medical centers. </p><p>Following completion of the transaction, Concentra now has 15 centers in the <span class="xn-location"><location value="LU/us.ga.atlnta" idsrc="xmltag.org">Atlanta</location></span> market, with two <org value="ACORN:3300892617" idsrc="xmltag.org">NextCare</org> medical centers in <span class="xn-location"><location value="LU/us.ga.kensaw" idsrc="xmltag.org">Kennesaw</location></span> and <span class="xn-location"><location value="LU/us.ga.mabton" idsrc="xmltag.org">Mableton</location></span> operating as Concentra Urgent Care respectively. These centers offer occupational and urgent care services, as well as preventive, wellness, and health education services to current and new patients and employers.
