Northrim Benefits Group partners with Acrisure, creates RISQ Consulting

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- Northrim Benefits Group LLC, formerly an affiliate of Northrim BanCorp Inc., has partnered with Acrisure LLC. Northrim Benefits Group, together with Acrisure's foundation agency, Insurance Brokers of Alaska, is consolidating its services and workforce, which will remain in Anchorage, and will now operate as RISQ Consulting.
"We couldn't be more excited or pleased to join the Acrisure family," said Joshua Weinstein, President of Northrim Benefits Group. "Acrisure is the nation's 12th largest insurance brokerage in the United States with proven capabilities and a vast agency network. We look forward to a smooth transition for our clients and employees."
Acrisure CEO Greg Williams added, "This partnership represents a phenomenal opportunity for RISQ Consulting to expand its menu of services to deliver greater value to clients. Together with Insurance Brokers of Alaska, RISQ Consulting will be able to provide a comprehensive suite of products and services including business consulting, employee benefits and administration services, and property and casualty solutions to our current and prospective clients."
The transaction is effective August 1, 2017.
