Emergency crews were on the scene of a one-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Interstate 70 in East Topeka.
The crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-70 between S.E. Croco and S.E. Carnahan.
Topeka police spokeswoman Gretchen Koenen said the driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Other occupants in the car weren't injured.
The cause of the crash is unknown, but Koenen said the driver was cited for failure to maintain a lane and no proof of insurance.
Police don't believe the driver was impaired.
The crash caused the two right westbound lanes of I-70, including the Rice Road on-ramp, to close for about an hour.
