More than 30 Insurer IT Initiatives in Data, Digital, Core Systems, and IT Best Practices Qualify for Novarica Impact Awards

Business Wire

Annual case study compendium provides insights into impactful IT projects by insurers

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- While insurer IT executives keep one eye on the future, they are still judged primarily by how they create business value in the present. The 5th Annual Novarica Research Council Impact Awards recognize insurer CIO’s impactful initiatives with the industry’s only purely peer-reviewed awards program.

More than 30 case studies qualify for this year’s awards, which will be selected by votes from the nearly 400 insurer IT executive members of the Novarica Insurance Technology Research Council. Voting is open until September 15, 2016, and winners in each category will be announced this fall. These case studies appear in the 5th annual edition of Novarica’s Best Practices Case Studies Compendium, available to Council members at http://novarica.com/compendium2016. Qualified insurer executives who are not current Council members may request membership and access to the report at http://novarica.com/council/.

“Since 2012, Novarica has published more than 150 case studies of insurer IT initiatives that deliver business impact,” said Matthew Josefowicz, president and CEO of Novarica. “These cases provide insights into how insurers are using technology to drive business value today, not in the distant future.”
