DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The "Michigan Health Market Review 2017: Part One" report has been added to Research and Markets' offering.

Implementation of the Affordable Care Act has been a smashing success in Michigan. More than half a million Michigan residents gained health coverage by enrolling in the Healthy Michigan Medicaid expansion or buying individual coverage, often subsidized. The market for individual insurance has been among the most stable in the country, with a good number of competitors and relatively moderate, until now, annual premium increases. Fifteen Michigan provider organizations have formed Medicare Accountable Care Organizations, seeking to improve quality and reduce costs, and some have realized significant shared savings. Much of what has been achieved could be undone if Congress agrees on a bill replacing the Affordable Care Act.
