Medical Mutual Names Andrea Hogben Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Managed Care Weekly Digest -- Andrea Hogben, former president of the Northeast Ohio Media Group, will join Medical Mutual of Ohio as Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications, beginning Aug. 29 (see also Insurance Companies).

Hogben joins Medical Mutual after a 22-year career at the Cleveland Plain Dealer that culminated with her serving for three years as President of the Northeast Ohio Media Group, which included the Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com. Prior to rising to President, Andrea held a variety of positions there, including Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

She serves on the boards of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the United Way of Greater Cleveland, and was most recently Co-Chair of the Marketing and Content Committee for the Republican National Convention Host Committee.
