ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 26 -- Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, Springfield, Massachusetts, has been assigned a patent (No. 11,042,649, initially filed Sept. 12, 2018) developed by five co-inventors for "systems and methods for secure display of data on computing devices." The co-inventors are Jiby John, Suffield, Connecticut, Michal Knas, Monson, Massachusetts, Damon Ryan DePaolo, Barkhamsted, Connecticut, Payton A. Shubrick, Springfield, Massachusetts, and Jason Cook, Westfield, Massachusetts.
The abstract states: "Disclosed herein are display techniques that will allow sensitive data displayed on a computer screen to only be viewed by authorized users and will render computer screen unreadable to unauthorized users. One or more display techniques are capable of automatically scrambling and unscrambling display screen of the computing device in which only an intended viewer is able to view data on the display screen using deciphering glasses."
