Lockton Adds George Bailey as New Senior Vice President

WASHINGTON, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Veteran insurance industry professional George Bailey has joined Lockton Companies as Senior Vice President in its Washington, DC office. Lockton is the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

Lockton adds George Bailey as new Senior Vice President in its Washington, DC office. The experienced industry leader will lead client teams, adding to company's depth and bolstering growth.

Bailey brings tremendous experience in the areas of employee benefits, client management, growth, and leadership, with nearly 25 years of experience in the employee benefit and risk management space.

He comes to Lockton from Mercer where he has spent the past 16 years working directly with clients of varying sizes and industries on a range of health, welfare, talent, and voluntary benefit plan solutions. During much of this time, he also led the Washington, DC and Baltimore offices with overall responsibility for clients, growth and people development.

Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Providence College. He is involved in numerous industry groups and civic organizations and is a recent graduate of the Leadership Arlington development program.
