Local investors renovating building at Newcastle and Monck [The Brunswick News, Ga.]

Sep. 14—Anyone walking in the downtown district has likely noticed the construction fencing around a historic building, this time at the corner of Newcastle and Monck streets.
According to fire insurance maps from the late 1880s, the building was once a grocery, followed by a series of drug stores, doctor offices and a furniture store, among other things.
