LIMRA Reveals Distribution Conference Speakers

By Press Release

LIMRA today announced three dynamic speakers to talk about what future customers will expect, what diversity and inclusion looks like and how technology will change customer expectations at the upcoming Distribution Conference.

The event will be held in Tampa, Florida, from Feb. 25 to Feb. 27.

The Distribution Conference for Financial Services, Power of the Past—Force for the Future, draws close to 400 industry professionals who have a vested interest in channel growth, productivity and reshaping distribution to succeed in today's business environment.

This year’s event will feature prominent experts who will share insights on the latest distribution trends and strategies to best address the changing market.

Keynote speakers include:

• Cam Marston, author, columnist, blogger and lecturer, Generational Insights, will discuss how financial services companies need to provide a new type of value to the next generation of clients.
• Sandy Eichel, diversity and inclusion consultant and wealth management advisor at Northwestern Mutual, will share how her own journey of authenticity led to her passion to change the financial services industry.
• Mike Walsh, founder and CEO of Tomorrow (an innovation consultancy), will talk about how financial institutions in the future will need to re-imagine both their products and platforms in order to remain relevant to tomorrow’s customers.

There will also be an executive panel with Munhal Shah, co-founder and CEO of Health IQ, Westley V. Thompson, president and CEO, M Financial Group, and Doyle Williams, executive vice president and chief experience officer, Country Financial. Moderated by James Kerley, managing partner at Clearview Partners, the panel will explore what the salesforce of the future might look like.

In addition to these speakers and breakout session on six different tracks—agency building, multi-line exclusive agent, brokerage, independent producer, direct-to-consumer, and financial management—new this year are “roundtable discussions.” These are an opportunity to have cross-channel strategic discussions with your peers, exchange ideas and learn what others are thinking across the industry.

The 2020 Distribution Conference will be held at the Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Florida.
