Liberty Appoints James Goodliffe as Senior Underwriting Officer

LONDON, England, Aug. 14 -- Liberty Specialty Markets, a specialty and commercial insurance and reinsurance provider, which is a part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, issued the following news release:
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance, has appointed James Goodliffe to the role of Senior Underwriting Officer within its Financial Risk Solutions (FRS) Multi-Buyer Trade Credit practice. James will be responsible for credit and transaction underwriting, portfolio and client relationship management, negotiation and product development. He will report to Paul Kunzer, Head of Multi-Buyer Trade Credit in North America. James will be based in LSM's Chicago office.

James is a veteran of the credit insurance industry, bringing 18 years of experience from a variety of senior level roles across various financial services organizations, including American International Group (AIG), Export Development Canada (EDC) and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Over his career he has held an array of positions in Account Management, Credit Risk Underwriting, and Commercial Underwriting.
