ALLEN, Texas, Feb. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Lewis & Ellis (L&E) was once again recognized by Best's Review® magazine as being one of the leading actuarial firms in the U.S. and Canada. The ranking reflects its continued success at meeting clients' needs in a professional and efficient manner.

Lewis & Ellis earned its highest actuarial ranking (based on loss reserves opined upon) in the life insurance field, where it continued to be ranked second with an industry-leading client count of 52 and client reserves totaling nearly $9.2 billion. This figure accounted for nearly 14 percent of the 25 top life actuarial consultants analyzed by A.M. Best.

L&E ranked third among health actuarial firms, similar to previous rankings, but the firm still accounted for more than 10 percent of the total health insurance industry with respect to client reserves and count of the firms reviewed by A.M. Best.
