LETTER: Trump is on trial for a very good reason

I am often amused by letters from Trump supporters, especially the ones that claim he is being charged with crimes by the Biden administration to keep him out of the White House.

He has been indicted by juries of his peers, his supporters claim he has no peers, in a strange way, they are correct.

Very few of the jury members, if any, have been charged with lying about sexually assaulting a woman, Trump has been, and found guilty of that. E. Jean Carroll was awarded $5 million in damages, Trump continued his lying, and a subsequent jury awarded her another $83.3 million.

Very few if any of them have been charged with falsifying business records, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, or defrauding banks. Trump was charged with fraud for falsifying business records, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, falsifying financial records, defrauding banks, etc.

He was found guilty on 5 of the 6 charges against him, and fined $354 million.

Now on trial for election interference for paying a porn star $130,000 to keep quiet prior to the 2016 election, falsifying business records, etc. Trump has employed members of Congress including Florida Sen. Scott (he pleaded the fifth against self incrimination 75 times) to go to New York to back his claim of harassment by the Biden administration. Also in the group was Mike Johnson the Bible pounding speaker of the House defending the twice impeached former president for having sex with a porn star while his wife was home with a 4-month-old child.
