Johns Hopkins Health Plans Improving Provider Experience
Recently, Johns Hopkins Health Plans launched a new multi-payer portal. Powered by Availity Essentials, the portal is a secure, real-time platform that connects providers with payers to help providers manage medical benefits, insurance claims and authorization requests.
"As part of our continuing effort to boost efficiency and streamline processes for providers in our network, Johns Hopkins Health Plans is excited to introduce this new portal," said
Using this new portal, provider offices will be able to submit and track electronic claims, claims status, remittance and claims payment information. Provider staffs will also benefit from insights into financial and administrative transactions powered by Artificial Intelligence, allowing for faster access to accurate data. Future improvements will enable providers to receive more timely access to member information through improved provider reports.
