IlliniCare Health Bolsters Leadership Team With Two New Hires

WESTMONT, Ill., Feb. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- IlliniCare Health, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), has strengthened its leadership team with key appointments to support its growing membership within Illinois.

Angela Perry, M.D., is appointed Vice President of Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Director. Dr. Perry will lead the development and delivery of innovative care management programs; ensure members receive the best quality of care and service; and support members and communities in achieving their vision of health. Prior to joining IlliniCare Health, Dr. Perry was the medical director for the Illinois division of eQHealth Solutions -- a non-profit healthcare technology and population health management company. As an advocate for Chicago's underserved population, Dr. Perry was also a partner in a thriving adult medicine practice that served the south side of Chicago. Dr. Perry is a graduate of Yale University and Rush Medical College. She trained at Michael Reese Hospital as an active member of the attending staff and served as president of the medical staff. Dr. Perry was also a community trustee for the Michael Reese Health Trust.  

Bruce Lane is appointed Senior Vice President of Finance. Lane will direct and lead the strategic planning and integration of all financial activities, health plan operations and information technology for the company. Before joining IlliniCare Health, Lane served as the CFO and VP of Finance for Covenant Health Partners / Covenant Health Systems in Lubbock, TX and held a variety of leadership roles at Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). Over the course of his career, he has built highly effective teams and fostered collaborative efforts across enterprises. Through his leadership and combined strategic and tactical operational expertise, he has successfully navigated organizations through transformational change. Lane earned a Master of Science in accounting and Master of Business Administration from Governors State University.
