The Florida-based company has been expanding rapidly as it positions itself to help those Americans left behind by the Affordable Care Act.

The new jobs will help support South Florida’s economy, as well as enable the company to provide assistance to some of the millions of U.S. residents that will be required to have health insurance under the Affordable Care Act or otherwise face a tax penalty.

Since January 2013, iCan has created more than 100 new jobs in Florida. The opening of the new Miramar call center, with 130 new insurance agents, is just another step in the company’s aggressive expansion plans.
