Higdon Insurance Group Joins Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Northern Alabama Charity Drive to Benefit Patients Receiving Palliative Care

Higdon Insurance Group, a locally owned firm that provides insurance services and financial planning assistance to families and business owners throughout northern Alabama, is inaugurating a charity event in cooperation with Shepherd's Cove Hospice with the goal of assisting patients in palliative care.

Shepherd's Cove Hospice is a nonprofit organization committed to assisting those facing end-of-life crises. This assistance is provided in the form of team-oriented expert hospice care, comprehensive pain management assistance, and emotional and spiritual support and counseling tailored to the wishes of each individual patient.

"Palliative assistance is a crucial element of effective medical care, but many members of our community who deserve treatment have no medical coverage for hospice care and our goal is to help them," says Michael Higdon, founder and managing director of the Higdon Insurance Group.
