Hanover Insurance Group Adopts Xactware’s ClaimXperience Solution

LEHI, Utah, March 12 -- Verisk, a data analytics provider, issued the following news release:

Xactware announced today that The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc., has adopted ClaimXperience(TM), a suite of online and mobile solutions, to help The Hanover's claims representatives deliver a digital customer experience for its policyholders throughout the claims process. Xactware is a Verisk (Nasdaq:VRSK) business.

With ClaimXperience, The Hanover can offer policyholders a set of solutions and apps to interact with company representatives for a variety of claims, including property, general liability, auto, and workers' compensation.

ClaimXperience capabilities include the following:

* An online first-notice-of-loss tool for policyholders

* Streaming live views of loss sites with smartphone cameras

* An online tool that enables policyholders to create inventories of their personal property and contents of their homes

* Online tools to collaborate with homeowners, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the restoration process

* A mobile-responsive website where policyholders receive updates on the progress of their claim along with their stored claims-related photos and documents

"We are happy to offer ClaimXperience to our policyholders," said Jim McSheffrey, vice president of property claims at The Hanover. "Offering flexibility during the adjustment phase can enhance the customer experience and improve cycle times."

Originally created for property insurance, ClaimXperience solutions have proved to be adaptable for a broad range of insurance claims.

"ClaimXperience offers policyholders the opportunity to be engaged in the claims process in new and exciting ways," said Mike Fulton, president of Xactware. "They can check on the status of their claims at any time because that information is available on the ClaimXperience collaboration portal. At the same time, it helps insurers operate more efficiently while offering great customer service."
