Rockers Gun ‘N Roses are needling President Donald Trump and his response to the coronavirus pandemic by marketing a T-shirt that reads: “Live ‘N Let Die With COVID 45.”
Last week, “Live and Let Die” blared as the 45th president of the United States toured an Arizona factory that makes N95 face masks. Shortly after, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin feuded with Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose on Twitter.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are hawking the T-shirt on their Twitter account, which has more than 6 million followers, and selling it on the band’s merchandise website.
The T-shirt sells for $25 with proceeds going to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund.
Gun N’ Roses covered the Paul McCartney and Wings song in 1991 on their Use Your Illusion I album.
