Guardian Announces Annual Policyholder Dividend

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America^® (Guardian), one of the nation’s largest mutual life insurers and a leading provider of employee benefits, today announced its Board of Directors approved the payment of $847 million in dividends¹ to the company’s individual life policyholders in 2017, representing the largest in company history. In addition, the 2017 Dividend Interest Rate, which is the investment component of the dividend, will be 5.85%.
