SPIRITUALITY AT THE END OF LIFE

"The Longevity Economy is maturing," said Mary Furlong, Producer of What's Next and author of Turning Silver into Gold:How to Profit on the New Boomer Marketplace.  "What's Next has evolved in 15 years and we are witnessing key shifts – like greater investment at all levels, from start-up to exit. Technology for older adults will see seismic shifts with the adoption of voice-first tech by consumers. We have mapped the ecosystem and the importance of distribution through homecare and senior housing is critical to business success. The companies at What's Next know that market data and the voice of the consumer is key; we know more about these consumers and the lifestages they are navigating than ever before. There are also more firms focusing marketing expertise on these consumers and they are all here."

"Being back in San Francisco this year really allows us to highlight not just the technology companies who are at home here, but also the major players like Facebook, Google, and Node.io who help to fuel the growth of the longevity economy," Furlong continued.

What's Next Boomer Business Summit (www.boomersummit.com) convenes the country's leading businesses, nonprofits, authors, thought leaders and analysts focused on the needs and issues of baby boomer and senior consumers. It is co-located with American Society on Aging's Aging in America Conference in San Francisco, California. It is produced annually by Mary Furlong and Associates and co-produced by Lori Bitter at The Business of Aging.

Session & Agenda Information

The 2018 event is focused on the data, tools, knowledge and case studies that can guide companies to success as they look toward Longevity Economy in 2020. Analyst sessions, a hallmark of What's Next, will feature voice first technology, health and wellness, senior housing, and the emerging trends – like cannabis, virtual reality and the gig economy.  Marketing and sales sessions include Google & search, Facebook, content marketing, user experience strategy, digital marketing and more. Additional Pre-Summit Interactive Sessions are planned for March 27th and will be announced. Back by popular demand is Lunch & Learn, Pitch for Distribution, and Speed Dealing.
