ARLINGTON, Va., July 25 -- Freedom Partners, a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization, issued the following statement by Vice President of Policy Nathan Nascimento on health care activity in the Senate:
"While much more will need to be done to truly reduce costs and provide relief from Obamacare, we urge Senators to support the 2015 partial repeal amendment and then use the next available opportunity to keep their promise by repealing the rest of Obamacare, including its costly regulations and choice-stifling mandates.
"Fully repealing Obamacare will ensure that millions of Americans who are suffering from exploding premiums and fewer options get the relief they so desperately need."
Earlier this year, Freedom Partners released a strategy memo entitled, "Health Care: A Targeted Approach." The memo put forth a series of targeted health care solutions that lawmakers can begin working on today that will lower costs, increase choice, and improve access to care for millions of people seeking relief.
