Foremost Insurance Company® Now in Production with Duck Creek Technologies’ Policy and Rating Solutions to Manage Specialty Lines

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Duck Creek Technologies announced that Foremost Insurance Company® is in production with the global provider of insurance software and services on delivery of policy and ratings solutions for the specialty line insurer. Foremost® selected Duck Creek to add digital capabilities, improve efficiencies, and enhance the customer experience for nearly 170,000 agents and customer service representatives, and more than 8,000 internal users.

The integrated Duck Creek platform will replace the Foremost legacy systems and is intended to improve quote functionality, expand the ability to process subsequent transactions and allow users to close business more quickly and easily.

The implementation began with Dwelling Fire and Specialty Homeowners policies, and has already rolled out to five states. It will ultimately expand to all states, over several phases. Following successful implementation of this first product, Foremost will phase the roll out for the balance of the Foremost Choice specialty insurance products.

Duck Creek Policy and Duck Creek Rating are included in a suite that also incorporates Duck Creek Billing and Duck Creek Claims software. The configurable software is designed to work independently or as a combined approach to managing all aspects of the P&C insurance lifecycle. It can be deployed through an on premise implementation or via Duck Creek On-Demand, a differentiated Software as a Service model.
