Five HighTower Advisors Listed on 2017 Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Advisers List

CHICAGO, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Five HighTower advisors appear on the 2017 Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Advisers List. HighTower advisors secured 2 more spots on this year's list than in 2016.

The Financial Times named the following HighTower advisors to this year's list:

  • H. Steve Bogner of Treasury Partners at HighTower in New York, N.Y.
    Mr. Bogner joined Treasury Partners at HighTower in January 2011 and is responsible for the team's corporate retirement plan advisory services, especially those relating to 401(k) defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Mr. Bogner also consults in the areas of control/restricted stock, life insurance/annuities, and estate planning.  This is his second consecutive year on the list.
  • Robert A. DeLucca of The Andriole Group at HighTower in Madison, Conn.
    Mr. DeLucca brings more than 20 years of industry experience to HighTower. He is responsible for ensuring The Andriole Group delivers client service experiences marked by excellence all while focusing on portfolio management, construction of customized fixed-income strategies, investment management services and corporate retirement plan consulting.
  • Jason B. Ezzell of The Ezzell-Conklin Group at HighTower in Folsom, Calif.
    Mr. Ezzell has over 15 years of financial experience and focuses on Private Client and Corporate Services. He leads The Ezzell-Conklin Group's research and investment process, driving customized portfolio construction and management for affluent private clients, institutions and endowments. Mr. Ezzell provides corporate clients with fiduciary services that include the creation and maintenance of fiduciary governance processes, as well as independent analysis and due diligence of investments in qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, defined benefit plans and endowment funds.

    Mr. Godfrey has over 18 years of experience in retirement plan consulting and specializes in delivering objective investment advice and fiduciary consulting to sponsors of defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans.
  • Jania Stout of HighTower Fiduciary Plan Advisors in Owings Mills, Md.
    Ms. Stout brings more than 20 years of experience in ERISA plan consulting to HighTower. She specializes in fiduciary consulting, investment monitoring and advice, 401(k) plan consulting, 403(b) plans, investment design and monitoring, Fiduciary Process, Education Strategies, Plan Design, Non-Qualified plans, ESOPs, and Defined Benefit Plans.

To qualify for the 2017 Top 401 Retirement Advisers list, advisors must manage $75 million or more in defined contribution (DC) plan assets, which must account for at least 20% of the advisors' total AUM. Other criteria include DC AUM, growth in DC plan business, specialization in the DC business, years of experience, participation rate, industry certifications and compliance record.
