Farmers Group, Inc.® Announces Foremost Insurance Group® President Retirement and Appointment

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Group Inc.^®announced today that Steve Boshoven, president of Farmers Specialty and head of the Foremost Brand, a leading insurer of specialty products such as mobile homes, motor homes, travel trailers and specialty dwellings, will retire from the organization after more than 30 years of service. Effective Jan. 1, 2018, 30-year Farmers^® and Foremost veteran Mike Cok, chief operating officer of Farmers Specialty and the Foremost Brand, will succeed him. Steve will officially retire from the organization effective May 1, 2018.

Boshoven joined Farmers in 2000 when Foremost Corporation of America was acquired, where he had been since February 1986 as its controller. Rising through the ranks, he was promoted to the position of chief operating officer of Farmers Specialty Lines and to president and chief operating officer in 2006. In 2007, he was appointed senior vice president of Farmers Group, Inc.

Cok is another senior Foremost leader brought on following the 2000 acquisition, having joined in 1987 as assistant treasurer and controller. Prior to joining Foremost, Mike worked for international accounting and consulting firm Deloitte. In 2013, Mike took on the role of chief operating officer for Farmers Specialty and the Foremost Brand, where he has served ever since.
