Educational Services & Consulting (ESC) Launches Their Newest Website Blog

PR Web

CLERMONT, Fla. (PRWEB) July 28, 2022

With the launch of their newest blog entitled "Is It Worth It To File An Insurance Claim?," Educational Services & Consulting (ESC) shares recommendations for knowing if filing an insurance claim is worth it. The post shared on July 23, 2022 takes readers through a few simple steps and a simple math equation to determine if they should file a claim.

"We know any time there is damage to your home or car, the question many people ask right away is what should we do?" Co-Owner and Chief Strategy Officer, Natalie Zimmerman, stated. "Taking a few moments to work through if it is worth it to file a claim before making the call or filling out the paperwork can save you time, expense and future headaches."

ESC recommends finding a copy of your policy and check for your overall policy coverages and any exclusions. "This is where you will know for sure if the water damage caused by the leaking sink pipe or the lightning strike is covered by your homeowner's policy or if the accident with the neighbor's mailbox is covered by your auto policy. After you've checked those items, review your deductible. If you aren't sure what your deductible amount is, you can always call your insurance agent" Zimmerman stated.

ESC also recommends doing some initial research on the potential cost of the repairs. With that information, they advise subtracting your deductible from the repair estimate. If the number is positive, it might be worth it to make a claim. If the number is negative, it might not be worth it to make a claim.

Zimmerman concludes, "ultimately, the choice on whether or not to file a claim is up to the policy holder. In some cases, it might be worth it and in others not. In the instance you do file a claim, make sure you're working with an accredited claims adjuster either a staff claims adjuster or an independent insurance adjuster who will review your coverage and help you continue the claim process."

Educational Services & Consulting offers two online designation courses for people looking to further their careers. Their 6-20 Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) designation course is a 40-hour online course with a final exam. Earning this designation allows candidates to by-pass the State of Florida exam and directly apply for their All-Lines Adjuster license. Having this license enables people to work on claims associated with homeowner's insurance, car insurance, property insurance and much more.

In addition to their 6-20 ACA designation course, Educational Services & Consulting also offers their 4-40 Registered Customer Service Representative (RCSR) designation course. This course is also a 40-hour online course with a final exam at the end of the course. As with the ACA designation, once students take the RCSR course and pass the final exam they will be exempt from taking the Florida state exam. Students can take either final exam up to 5 times within the 60 day time allotment without accruing additional financial charges.

Zimmerman adds "Based on the vision of our founder, my Aunt Connie McChesney, we strive to provide the best educational experience and services to our clients to help their employees have successful careers. Our online learning environment offers flexibility for the mature person looking to grow their career while maintain their personal obligations."

Educational Services & Consulting is headquartered in Clermont, Florida at 4327 South Highway 27, Suite 204, Clermont, Florida 34711. To learn more about enrolling in their ACA or RCSR designation courses, visit online at https://escconnected.com/courses/ or call 1-800-309-2549.
