DXC Technology to Manage Insurance Policy Processing for Brighthouse Financial

TYSONS, Virginia, May 30 -- DXC Technology, an end-to-end information technology services company, issued the following news release:
DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), the world's leading independent, end-to-end IT services company, today announced an agreement to provide insurance business process services (BPS) to Brighthouse Financial, a major provider of annuities and life insurance in the U.S.
Under the terms of the agreement, DXC will administer 1.3 million in-force life policies and annuities contracts and provide processing support for all newly issued policies and contracts.
"We selected DXC as a partner because of the company's proven experience and scale of services in the North American life insurance and annuities market," said Kim Berwanger, senior vice president, Brighthouse Financial.
DXC services to Brighthouse Financial will include contact center, operations and IT support, as well as policy administration on DXC insurance platforms.
"We are proud that Brighthouse Financial has selected DXC to provide business process services to support its organization," said Phil Ratcliff, vice president and general manager, Insurance, DXC Technology. "Insurance BPS remains an important area of investment for DXC.
